To help survive in today's economic climate, enterprises should look for ways to cut costs while still driving revenue. With the new OpenScale Operate service packages, organizations can share day-to-day communications operations with a trusted partner to help drive down expenses, optimize network assets and focus more resources and attention on better serving customers.
OpenScale Operate service packages consist of three standard offerings that are designed to provide service level consistency at a per user price:
- OpenScale Essential - provides basic 24x7 remote break/fix service. It covers hardware and software as well as on-site maintenance and spare parts. Technical support comes with response times based on a standard service level.
- OpenScale Essential Plus - steps more into Managed Services with Service Level Agreement (SLA)-based delivery with monitoring, a dedicated service desk and service management. It can also complement existing in-house resources by providing additional skill sets to operate the communications infrastructure.
- OpenScale Assurance - provides complete, end-to-end Managed Services to maintain, monitor and operate an entire enterprise communications infrastructure, including voice, data and security, under the direction of a dedicated Siemens Service Level Manager. Standard remote software moves, adds and changes (MAC) are included in the service without additional charges.
Additionally, Siemens can further customize these packages to fit the needs of enterprises. For companies with IT professionals already skilled at operating its communications infrastructure, Siemens can provide OpenScale Essential Software for Unified Communications, which can provide affordable, SLA-based remote technical support for software updates, changes and fixes.
"With the new OpenScale Operate service packages, Siemens gives enterprise customers the flexibility to choose the right level of operational IT support to meet their particular needs. This approach gives businesses an opportunity to provide a stable communications infrastructure while dramatically helping to reduce operating expenses," said
"With Siemens standards-based, open communications architecture as the basis of our OpenScale Operate service packages," Idstein said, "enterprises can determine how much of their communications operations they manage, if any, without as much concern about interoperability or being forced to change their IT strategies."
