TaxBrain.com(R) New 2009 Tax Credit W4 Calculator Tool Helps Taxpayers See Bigger Pay Checks

TRACY, Calif., April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- TaxBrain.com(R), America's Online Tax Service(TM) (http://www.taxbrain.com) -- Most Americans will see an increase in their paychecks due to the Making Work Pay Tax Credit (MWP) provision of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. To help taxpayers estimate the credit, TaxBrain recently launched a new W-4 calculator tool which reflects the new withholding amounts related to the tax credit. The MWP will provide a refundable tax credit of up to $400 for working individuals and up to $800 for married taxpayers filing joint returns. The deduction is automatic and will be handled at the employer level.
