PLEASANTON, Calif., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Avanquest Software, a global developer and publisher of mobility, productivity and utilities software, today announced that merchant credit card account functionality from Cardservice International will be integrated into the MySoftware line of small business productivity products beginning in August. The new payment processing services will be included as part of the MyInvoice & Estimates and Bookkeeper billing and accounting applications, which are available at more than 10,000 retail outlets across North America.
The Cardservice functionality enables small business users of Avanquest's finance software to establish a merchant credit card account and process customer payments online with immediate notification of insufficient funds and automatic payment scheduling. Other services available from within the product provided with a Cardservice merchant account are:
* Automatic use of strong encryption to protect your customer credit card information
* Distribution of credit card payments against outstanding invoices * Easy tracking of all credit card transactions processed in the software * Processing of credit card refunds for returns and credits
Creating a merchant account also allows the user to access LinkPoint Central, Cardservice's portal for merchant transaction processing. From the support center, merchants can manage their accounts by monitoring all account activity, checking transaction settlements and viewing detailed transaction and activity reports.
