'Trackle It' Service Gives Users a Reason to Return; Providing User Engagement for Publishers and Retailers

Bloggers Can Add 100 New, 'Trackle' Widgets For Contextual Content

SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Aimed at marketers, retailers and publishers of content rich sites, Trackle today announced its new "Trackle It" service that can be added to any site to help users track information and items that they care most about. The service helps online marketers reach their audiences with the right information, at the right time and place. It works like a "customized RSS feed" that enables users on participating sites to receive and share notifications about personalized information, such as price drops, new user-generated content, product messages, etc. Users choose their preferred communication method to receive alerts, such as email or SMS; and can also share content on Digg, Facebook, Twitter or other social networks. The Trackle service also provides accurate, quickly generated statistics on what's most interesting to users.

Additionally, the Trackle Widgets Library provides 100 content widgets ranging from "Local Crime," "Health", "Real Estate", 'Stocks" and is available to bloggers and publishers wishing to add free, contextual content to their sites to drive repeat traffic. The public beta is available now at www.trackle.com.

"Our community-generated content is growing at a pace of over 30,000 unique, richly-illustrated travel experiences per month," stated Dan Seligson, COO of Everytrail.com. "Trackle makes it much easier for our users to share and explore the travel stories they've created, with GPS, maps and photos on www.everytrail.com. It's a great way for our community to tracking their individual interests and stay connected with alerts that tell them when to come back for more."

"We offer a robust marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of over 220,653 technical products. Our community needs to know exactly when there's a price drop or new listings and Trackle provides a one-of-a-kind service for this," said Peter Ostrow, President and CEO of Technical Communities operator of www.EurekaSpot.com

Trackle is offering two new services:

-- "Trackle It": For Publishing and Retail Sites - Customizable tracking for hundreds of thousands of items - Automatically alerts customers based on specifically requested information * Breadth of notification and sharing mechanisms (email, SMS, social networks, twitter, FaceBook, Digg) * Customized alerts gives users a reason to return - Low risk, pay-per-action model that is free to set up - Marketing tools * Accurate, quickly generated statistics on what's most interesting to users; user privacy measures -- Trackle Widgets Library: For Bloggers and publishers - Choose from over 100 of Trackle's tracking widgets to add rich, compelling, contextual content to any site.
