Wyse Technology Introduces Enhanced Administration Tool for Thin Clients

New Feature Further Simplifies Thin Client Administration by Leveraging Cloud Computing Architecture

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced new advanced capabilities that allow users to instantly restore their Wyse thin client devices in the event of damage or misuse. The functionality instantly returns a supported Wyse thin client to factory or customer specific settings via a standard USB memory stick. The functionality, which is immediately available, further simplifies the already simple administration and configuration of Wyse thin client devices within cloud computing environments.

While PCs can and do crash often, not so with thin clients. However, for the rare instances when the firmware in a thin client is damaged either by misuse or improper administration, Wyse customers can now simply fix the issue using a standard USB stick. This will instantly bring a supported Wyse thin client back to factory configuration, as well as to the specific cloud application and configuration settings for that organization.
