Beginning Aug. 1, "2News" on KJZZ will air live from 9 to 9:30 p.m. each night. The Monday-through-Friday newscasts will be anchored by Shauna Lake, followed by "Friends." Mike Headrick will anchor weekend newscasts, which will be followed by "KJZZ TalkinSports" at 9:30 p.m.
David James will anchor "KJZZ TalkinSports," which will focus on local and national sports stories. A "2News TalkinSports" at 10:35 p.m. will be broadcast live from the Delta Center.
The arrangement also includes "Dr. Phil" airing Monday through Friday at 8 p.m. Beginning next March, "2News" at 4 p.m. will air exclusively on KJZZ.
Other programming on the stations remains unchanged, including "2News" newscasts at noon, 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
