Solution Interoperability and Non-Disruptive Upgrades Increase Productivity While Lowering Cost of Ownership

ATLANTA, April 22 /PRNewswire/ — Infor today announced it has begun delivering Infor FMS SunSystems, a global financial management solution, with built-in SOA capabilities. Used by companies spanning all industries, FMS SunSystems 5.4, which provides a strong basis for financial reporting, is now equipped for interoperability with complementary Infor and non-Infor solutions, delivering added business benefits and providing a lower total cost of ownership.

FMS SunSystems 5.4 utilizes Infor Open SOA, a unique, event-driven service-oriented architecture (SOA) framework, to provide a standards-based approach for integration of both Infor and non-Infor systems and data sources. Through Infor Open SOA, Infor customers can rapidly and economically add software applications and future component-based enhancements without the need to “rip-and-replace” software or interrupt other systems during operations, a key benefit to Infor’s SOA technology.
