Provance introduces two new IT Asset Management solutions for Microsoft System Center

LAS VEGAS, NV, April 29 /PRNewswire/ - Provance today introduced two new IT Asset Management software products for Microsoft System Center at Microsoft Management Summit 2009. The new version of Provance, further optimized for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007, provides new integration to Microsoft Active Directory and adopts Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services as a decision support platform. Provance also unveiled its future Process Management Pack that will bring IT Asset Management capabilities to Microsoft System Center Service Manager.

PROVANCE INTRODUCES TWO NEW IT ASSET MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS FOR MICROSOFT SYSTEM CENTER

The Provance products complement Microsoft System Center without any functional overlap to provide new capabilities for IT Asset Management and Software Asset Management. Both Provance 4.3 and the Provance IT Asset Process Management Pack for System Center Service Manager supplement the IT operational view of System Center with cost, contract and organizational information. Provance 4.3 is available immediately. A beta trial of the future Provance IT Asset Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Service Manger will begin in Fall 2009. The Provance IT Asset Management Pack will be available concurrent to the release of Microsoft System Center Service Manager in the first half of 2010.

Provance will be demonstrating both solutions at Microsoft Management Summit 2009, booth 338 in Las Vegas until May 1st.
