The study, conducted by J.D. Power and Associates, measured customer satisfaction with traditional wireless handsets across several different categories including operation, physical design, features and battery function. LG excelled in all factors, with highest recognition in battery function, operation and physical design. According to the study, LG mobile phones overall score ranked significantly above the industry average, resulting in the prestigious rank.

Power and Associates 2009 Wireless Traditional Mobile Phone Satisfaction Study(SM) - Volume 1 recognizes one manufacturer, on a biannual basis, for their performance in customer satisfaction.
