CHICAGO, May 5 /PRNewswire/ — To help celebrate the completion of the renovation of the 200 South Wacker Regus business center, Mike Ditka and other members of the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund including Gale Sayers, Dan Hampton and Steve McMichael will be in attendance at an Open House signing autographs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 07. Broadcasting legend, Chuck Swirsky, will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the event. Regus locations across the Chicago area enable businesses of all sizes to embrace flexible workplace strategies to slash facilities cost and mitigate risk.

Gridiron Greats, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to retired professional football players, recently moved its headquarters from Wisconsin to Chicago. The organization’s corporate headquarters are now located in the Regus Northbrook business center. During the Open House event Regus will make a donation to the Gridiron Greats Fund.

“We are very grateful to Regus for the open arms they have extended to the Gridiron Greats organization,” said Mike Ditka. “With their assistance, our headquarter office transition from Green Bay has been made smoothly and with success. We appreciate their generosity and envision a long term partnership with them going forward.”

With 29 locations now in the Chicago area, 200 South Wacker was Regus’ first Chicago location. The newly renovated center features a completely remodeled, business-ready environment. “Clients selecting our newly renovated 200 South Wacker center will have the opportunity to have a state-of-the-art, fully equipped office in a great location at a fraction of the cost of leasing and outfitting their own office space,” said Jeff Doughman, Regional Vice President for Regus. “The flexibility that we provide our clients will allow them to limit risk, reduce overhead and improve the bottom line in this uncertain economic environment. This newly-saved capital can be re-directed back into other areas to help grow their business.”

Regus offers its clients a full range of cost-effective workplace products, including fully furnished, fully staffed private offices, meeting rooms and business support services. For those clients who may not need a full-time office, Regus also offers virtual offices, which allow businesses to instantly gain a presence in a new market with a prestigious, high-profile business address and local telephone answering and mail handling services. Regus clients typically experience up to a 60 percent savings on their facilities costs over leasing traditional office space.

Commenting on the Regus donation to Gridiron Greats Doughman added, “Mr. Ditka has been such a great spokesperson for Gridiron Greats. His commitment and dedication to the cause is exemplary. We’re delighted to contribute to this worthy cause and we wish Mr. Ditka and his team continued success in aiding these former athletes – who have brought so many of us countless, great memories growing up.”
