Flextronics Global Services Improves Customer Supply Chain Visibility With RedPrairie Solutions

SINGAPORE, May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Flextronics Global Services (FGS), a strategic business unit of Flextronics and one of the most respected global providers of post-manufacturing logistics services to the electronics and high-tech industries today announced that it has successfully begun the rollout process of RedPrairie's warehouse management system (WMS) and transportation management system (TMS) across its global network of facilities. This improvement in supply chain visibility directly addresses the increased need for customers to make real-time changes at various points in the supply chain in order to accommodate fluctuations in market demand. Beginning with a successful pilot program implementation in December 2008, Flextronics expects full migration of RedPrairie's WMS and TMS systems to occur over the next 24 months.
