Engine Yard Flex introduces unique new features like environment cloning and one-button deployment as well as essential features for agile operations, such as automatic deployment from a version control system and application server auto-recovery. The new offering expands the reach of the popular Ruby on Rails framework, giving developers an easy way to access the benefits of Rails when developing for the cloud. Flex continues to build Ruby on Rails' advantage as the easiest and most cost effective platform for developing and deploying web applications.

Engine Yard Flex is a cloud service for customers that want to leverage the on-demand flexibility of a public cloud, but need application level scaling, reliability, and support. Flex is the latest addition to the Engine Yard suite of solutions for Rails in the Cloud, which now includes:
