VimpelCom to Release Fourth Quarter and Audited Annual 2008 Financial and Operating Results on Wednesday, May 13, 2009

MOSCOW and NEW YORK, May 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Open Joint Stock Company "Vimpel-Communications" ("VimpelCom" or the "Company") (NYSE: VIP) the leading provider of telecommunications services in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) today announced that it will webcast its conference call on its fourth quarter and audited annual 2008 financial and operating results on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. Moscow time (10:30 a.m. ET).
