Hifn and BELL DATA Sign Distribution Agreement

Leading Japanese Distributor will Market Hifn’s BitWackr(TM) Data Deduplication Technology at the 11th Data Storage Expo in Tokyo, Japan May 13 – 15

FREMONT, Calif. and TOKYO, May 11 /PRNewswire/ — Hifn, recently acquired by Exar Corporation (Nasdaq: EXAR), the Company powering connectivity, today announced they have signed a distribution agreement with BELL DATA, Inc., a leading storage solution provider for the Japanese market. The agreement enables BELL DATA to distribute Hifn’s storage products including the newly announced BitWackr data deduplication technology to resellers and end users throughout Japan. The two companies will also join together at the 11th Data Storage Expo in Tokyo, Japan May 13 – 15, booth W10-73, where they will highlight their respective storage solutions.
