Revelation Software Concepts New GlobalView Provides Graphical Visibility into System Change Control of SAP(R) Solutions

Web-based dashboard provides unified perspective on all Rev-Trac managed change control processes and activities throughout the most complex systems

ORLANDO, Fla., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Revelation Software Concepts Pty Ltd (RSC), an SAP(R) software solution partner, today announced Rev-Trac(R) GlobalView, a Web-based, on-line support tool. GlobalView allows users to see all of their Rev-Trac managed change and transport control information and processes using a single dashboard that provides a useful, graphical perspective of change control processes for SAP solution-based systems. RSC will demonstrate the powerful new tool at the SAPPHIRE 2009 Orlando conference, booth No. 627, being held May 11-14.

Rev-Trac, the market-leading third-party solution for SAP solution-based system change and transport management, contains a wealth of configuration and usage information. Although easily collected and extremely valuable, this information can be subtle and not always obvious to teams maintaining the system. The new GlobalView support tool shows how Rev-Trac is configured on their system, how it is being utilized and who in the organization is using it.

• A process viewer with interactive flow charts that provide instant graphical visibility into all configured change control processes
• A usage analysis that shows which Rev-Trac features are in use but, perhaps more importantly, which are not and how to activate them to get full value
• A system health analysis that identifies configuration problem areas, providing advice on appropriate resolutions
• An interactive landscape viewer that diagrams the user's system and landscape details
• A viewer that shows the user's organizational and team structures, specifying each team member's approval level/responsibilities
• Usage statistics that cover the number of transports managed, transport migrations, signatures received, change requests, documents attached, and more, enabling users to quickly gauge their Rev-Trac ROI

GlobalView runs independently of an organization's SAP software implementations, using only the customer's Rev-Trac configuration information to produce its analyses. As a Rev-Trac analysis tool, it will be included as part of normal Rev-Trac annual support.
