Jonathan W. Smith and Max Kymmell Build Red River's Strategic Programs Division

LEBANON, N.H., May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Red River Computer Company, Inc. an integrator of information technology solutions with expertise in the federal market, today announced the appointment of Jonathan W. Smith as Vice President Business Development and Max Kymmell as Director of Business Development. Mr. Smith and Mr. Kymmell will be responsible for building and leading the Strategic Programs Division.

For more than 14 years Red River has served all aspects of the federal government with mission-critical IT solutions. Jonathan comes directly to Red River from Sun Microsystems where he was the Executive Director-Sun Federal Civilian Agencies. While at Sun, Mr. Smith achieved double-digit sales increases in all product and service categories year-over-year. Prior to Sun Microsystems Mr. Smith was Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Northrop Grumman IT/CS Sector, a $1Billion reseller division.

Mr. Kymmell also comes to Red River directly from Sun Microsystems where he was the Civilian Agencies District Manager. Mr. Kymmell served as the Director of Federal Programs at another federal reseller prior to his tenure at Sun Microsystems and was with Northrop Grumman IT for more than 10 years where he grew and managed several large government programs focused on delivering complex IT solutions.

Mr. Smith and Mr. Kymmell bring over 50 years of combined Federal IT sales, marketing and management experience to Red River.
