Cogo Group, Inc. to Present at Barclays Capital Worldwide Wireless and Wireline Conference on May 28, 2009

SHENZHEN, China, May 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cogo Group, Inc., a leading provider of customized design solutions for the technology manufacturing sector in China, today announced that Will Davis, Chief Marketing Officer, will present at Barclays Capital Worldwide Wireless and Wireline Conference on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 9:45am to 10:10am in the Times Square Ballroom C at Crowne Plaza Times Square, New York City. A 25-minute Breakout session will immediately follow the presentation in the Balcony Room.

During the presentation, Mr. Davis will discuss Cogo's 2009 growth strategies within its core businesses of mobile handsets, telecom equipment and digital media, along with new business opportunities in various industrial verticals, particularly the electrical grid and railways, and other opportunities in auto electronics and green technology. Throughout the day, Mr. Frank Zheng, Chief Financial Officer will join Mr. Davis for one-on-one meetings with analysts and investors.
