Red Bend Software's Mobile Software Management Solutions Are Selected by NTT DOCOMO

Red Bend will enable DOCOMO to deliver innovative, personalized mobile communications services

TOKYO, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Red Bend Software (Japan headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiro Abe), the market leader in Mobile Software Management (MSM), today announced that NTT DOCOMO, INC. The agreement with DOCOMO marks a major milestone for Red Bend in licensing its full portfolio of MSM solutions directly to a tier one operator, and signals the acceleration of market adoption of mobile software management. Red Bend will provide DOCOMO with Red Bend's vCurrent(R) Mobile solution for updating firmware over-the-air (FOTA), vRapid Mobile(TM) solution for managing software components over-the-air (SCOTA) and vDirect Mobile(TM) device management (DM) client.
