Eight Wake County Public Schools Now Part of the CFNC Electronic Transcript System

RALEIGH, N.C., May 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Students at eight Wake County Public Schools now have the ability to request their official high school transcript be sent electronically to any of the 110 North Carolina public, private, and community colleges and universities through the College Foundation of North Carolina's college access web portal, CFNC.org. The eight schools include East Wake School of Arts Education and Global Studies, East Wake School of Engineering, East Wake School of Health Science, East Wake School of Integrated Technology, Enloe Magnet High School, Green Hope High School, Needham Broughton High School, and Southeast Raleigh High School. Plans are currently underway to make this service available to all Wake County Public and Charter High Schools in the summer of 2009.The CFNC Electronic Transcript System has been operational since Fall 2003 and has delivered over 107,000 official high school transcripts electronically.

Official electronic high school transcripts (current and final) can be requested in one of two ways on CFNC.org: (1) when applying online for admission to any of the 110 colleges or universities in North Carolina, or (2) directly from CFNC.org's Transcript Manager. Students can also track their electronic transcript activity on CFNC.org. Electronic transcript tracking activity includes destination colleges, date sent and status of transcripts.
