Aon Consulting Announces New Hire with U.S. Retirement Practice

Amol Mhatre to serve as vice president of National Retirement Innovation and Sales

LOS ANGELES, May 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aon Consulting Worldwide, the global human capital consulting organization of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), today announced that Amol Mhatre has joined the firm as senior vice president of National Retirement Innovation and Sales.

Mhatre brings more than 13 years of retirement experience to Aon Consulting. Prior to joining Aon, he was the market leader of Mercer's retirement business for the Pacific Southwest. In his new role, Mhatre will be responsible for ensuring responsiveness to clients' needs around the human resources and financial issues of their retirement plans, as well as ensuring that thought leadership and consulting processes support those needs holistically.

Mhatre received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Mumbai (Bombay), and a Masters of Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also is an Enrolled Actuary and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Mhatre is based in Aon's Los Angeles office.
