TAG Heuer Launches Industry's First Comprehensive Online Customer Service Web Site

The distinctive aspect of the new site is its twofold approach: it serves as both a source of information and a direct link to TAG Heuer's service center. Visitors to the site's homepage can click on several links, such as "Advice on your timepiece" or "Our Services." The former option leads visitors to a page of expert advice from the brand's master watchmakers on how to properly care for a TAG Heuer. The latter describes the many stages a watch must go through while it is at the service center for it to fully comply with the brand's service requirements. TAG Heuer has developed and adheres to the highest level of standards for the maintenance and repairs of its watches in order to preserve their value and integrity. For example, maintenance for a TAG Heuer comprises 18 operations, including case and bracelet cleaning and gasket replacement. Additional links take guests to a watch glossary and a section of interesting trivia about TAG Heuer.
To bring an exceptional level of transparency and efficiency to the customer service process, TAG Heuer has created sections of the site wholly devoted to communicating to retail partners and customers the status of watch repairs. These password-protected areas enable both end-users to constantly see the progress of a work order from the moment it arrives at TAG Heuer's
The streamlined process begins when either a retailer or customer sends a watch to TAG Heuer's repair center. Once it is received, TAG Heuer will email a notification of receipt, which will contain a unique username and password. Logging on using this information enables either user to track a work order, view dated history of all consecutive repair steps already achieved as well as related documents. To expedite the repair process, estimates can be reviewed and approved online. Customers can pay for services using PayPal, which ensures their credit card information is secure and private.
For retailers who prefer to continue with faxing in approved estimates, TAG Heuer will now fax an acknowledgement letter that lists all of the watches the after-service center has received from a store. TAG Heuer will not begin emailing retailers service estimates or status updates without their expressed consent. Retailers are asked to call TAG Heuer's customer center and provide an email address if they want to use this comprehensive service.
