Storwize Names Ex-Data Domain Channel Sales Chief as Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales

With a stellar track record of building global channel organizations in rapidly growing companies, William Cordero will oversee global channel strategy and sales

LOS GATOS, Calif., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Storwize Inc., the market leader in primary storage optimization and data reduction, today announced the appointment of William Cordero as Vice President, Worldwide Channel Sales, reporting to Storwize Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales Tom Gallivan.

Cordero brings an outstanding track record of building and managing channel organizations. He joins Storwize from Data Domain where he served as Senior Director, Worldwide Channel Sales. At Data Domain Cordero had global responsibility for the development and deployment of the company's indirect, strategic, and alternative channels where sales grew to over $200 million in five years. Prior to Data Domain, Cordero held senior sales and channel management positions at McData, VA Software and NetScreen.
