SRA Awarded $63 Million Joint Staff Systems Integration Network Task Order

Managing the operation, maintenance and modernization of Joint Staff systems and desktop support

FAIRFAX, Va., June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations and commercial clients, today announced it has been awarded the Joint Staff Information Network (JSIN) task order under the ENCORE II contract vehicle. The contract value is $63 million over 31 months if all options are exercised.

Under the contract, SRA will support the goal of the Joint Staff to fully integrate IT service functions that deliver project management, development, testing, sustainment, end-user support, asset management and procurement to meet mission requirements. The primary objective is to seamlessly integrate new technologies and make necessary updates to systems and applications for all Joint staff members that maximize capability and deliver reliable, timely and sustainable IT services.

SRA will be assuming the operation, maintenance and modernization of the existing Joint Staff communication infrastructure including servers, networks and desktop. SRA will initiate and participate in the deployment of new projects that will span the system development lifecycle for ensuring the use of the latest technology as well as implementing improvements to the environment for security and performance.
