Intelity Nationally Unveils ICE, the Hotelier’s Solution to Increasing Revenue and Decreasing Expenses While Maintaining Service

June 15, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla., June 15 /PRNewswire/ — In today’s tough economy, hoteliers throughout the U.S. are feeling pressure to increase revenue and decrease expenditures while still maintaining excellent guest satisfaction. With that in mind, Intelity, an interactive hospitality technology company, introduces hoteliers to the Interactive Customer Experience Solution(ICE). This revolutionary in-room solution and back-end monitoring system organizes, tracks and measures all hotel activity at the touch of a button. ICE is a customizable, branded interface that allows hotel guests to arrange all services instantly via a touch screen from their guest room, laptop or mobile device. Beginning in July, Intelity will announce an international rollout of ICE, with hotels in Boston, Las Vegas, Chicago and New York City (to name a few).

From room service and valet to tee-times and spa appointments, ICE is more than an in-room concierge, powering all guest needs on-property. Through corporate partnerships, guests can also arrange off-property amenities through ICE, such as purchasing movie tickets, scheduling rental cars and making dinner reservations. Meanwhile, ICE enables the hotel to modify prices in an instant and send hotel-wide messages to guests and employees in real time. The system can increase revenue with strategic upselling and streamline operations where requests and employee actions are tracked in real time.

“We kept the hotelier in mind in every aspect of the design, from guest experience to revenue generation, system navigation to modification, and most importantly expense reduction,” says David Adelson, founder and CEO of Intelity. “ICE is as much an amenity to the guests as it is an asset to the hotel. Never before has the hotelier had such a high level of control and insight into the staff’s performance and guests’ habits.”

In a matter of weeks, the ICE solution that includes 19 to 22-inch touch screens in every guest room, is installed and customized to the specific hotel or timeshare brand. Controlling and modifying the system is simple, but the back-end ICE Control System (ICS) portion of ICE is the most significant feature to hoteliers. Through this, the hotelier can reduce or completely eliminate unneeded hotel expenses. ICE’s ICS program is integrated to the property’s point of sale system. All hotel activity is tracked and measured, then presented in three-dimensional charts, graphs, and spreadsheets. The results are simplified and straightforward, making swift budgetary and operational decisions more reliable than ever before.
