The BDP-S5000ES is the first Sony product to use Marvell's 88DE2710 video format converter. The Blu-ray player offers BD-Live for interactive content and supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio formats. The Sony Blu-ray disc player received HiVi's Grand Prix 2009 Video Disc Player Award and AV Review's Visual Grand Prix 2009 Gold Award. This award winning Blu-ray player is available now worldwide.
