AMT resources let Central Stations and Managed Service Providers quickly launch their own branded Managed Access services.

SAINT PAUL, Minn., June 16 /PRNewswire/ – Announced today, AMT is entering the Managed Access and Hosted Access space as a provider of products and services. AMT’s strategy is to enable Central Stations and others to quickly create and launch Managed Access security applications under their own brand with their own unique feature sets. AMT is building this initiative on its OpenFoundation Services software development platform and its Brix application resources.

The company believes it is in a unique position to compete in this marketplace. It credits this to its distinct set of competitive advantages including its position as a development platform provider and engineering resource, and its proven code base supporting thousands of locations worldwide over the Internet. It also points to its early adoption of IP devices, including HID’s Edge and VertX, and more recent support for the 802.11 all-in-one locksets from Assa Abloy.

AMT is taking appointments for the ESX show in Baltimore, MD. Interested parties should contact Dean Forchas at dean.forchas@amt-us.com or by phone at 763-557-0800 ext. 210.
