American Eagle Begins Jet Service Between Columbia and Dallas/Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas, July 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will add nonstop service between Columbia Metropolitan Airport (Columbia, S.C.) and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport beginning Oct. 30. American Eagle will operate three daily round-trip flights between the two cities using 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.
"We're pleased to be able to add nonstop service from Dallas/Fort Worth to Columbia as part of our expansion into the Southeast market," said American Eagle President Peter Bowler. "Columbia travelers will now have access to convenient connections to hundreds of flights bound for dozens of destinations in the Southwest, California and Mexico through AA's Dallas/Fort Worth hub."
