According to “VoV”, Vietnam Airlines conducted more than 23,800 flights in the first six months of this year, carrying more than 2.9 million passengers, including 1.3 million foreigners, a year-on- year rise of 25 percent. The airlines also transported over 47,100 tons of cargo in the reviewed period. To develop its network of air routes, Vietnam Airlines signed contracts to buy 10 A321 airplanes from the Airbus Group and four Boeing B787′s.
