Integral Systems Europe to Provide Spectrum Management System (SMS) to NATO

June 17, 2009

MonicsNET(R) System to provide automatic monitoring for NATO Advanced Satcom Network Monitoring and Control

TOULOUSE, France, June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Integral Systems Europe (ISE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integral Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISYS), today announced a contract to provide the MonicsNET(R) Satellite Carrier Monitoring system to ACTIA-SODIELEC, prime contractor for NATO’s Advanced Satcom Network Monitoring and Control (ASNMC) capability program. MonicsNET is a product of SAT Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integral Systems.

Under the terms of the contract, ISE will deliver a MonicsNET system with two central, redundant measurement sites at NATO’s primary earth stations, and local measurement capabilities at six remote sites. Once implemented, the monitoring system will support eight to ten simultaneous users, with TDMA automatic monitoring and specific redundancy architecture.

MonicsNET is a full-featured satellite carrier monitoring system employing SAT Corporation’s proprietary Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and measurement algorithms. MonicsNET enables satellite network monitoring in a fraction of the time a classic spectrum analyzer requires. In addition, it increases network operational efficiencies through the rapid verification of link Quality of Service and identification of unauthorized transponder capacity users.

“Through this contract with ACTIA-SODIELEC, we are pleased to provide our NATO customers with a truly world-class satellite carrier monitoring system,” said Bruno Dupas, President, Integral Systems Europe. “MonicsNET provides NATO a user-friendly and scalable solution that maximizes situational awareness in a cost-effective and robust manner.”
