Telit's CDMA M2M Cellular Module Earns Certification on Sprint's Wireless Network

Certification of CC864-DUAL Offers Telit M2M Customers Nationwide Coverage on Sprint's Now Network

RALEIGH, N.C., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Telit Wireless Solutions, Inc., the US-based mobile technology arm of Telit Communications (AIM: TCM), announced today that its CDMA dual-band cellular machine-to-machine (M2M) communications module, the CC864-DUAL, is certified for use on the Sprint wireless network. Telit customers can now launch M2M applications utilizing Sprint's nationwide dependable 3G network with the CC864-DUAL, Telit's first CDMA-1XRTT wireless module designed specifically for the North American market.

This enables M2M application developers to design an application only once and take advantage of global coverage and the flexibility afforded by having a single design that supports GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSDPA and CDMA-1xRTT, the most prevalent cellular technologies worldwide.
