Givex Reforestation Program Plants 2,875 More Trees in B.C. to Offset Emissions from Gift Card Production

TORONTO, June 18 /PRNewswire/ - Givex, a global provider of closed loop card technologies including gift, loyalty and other stored value programs, announced today the planting of 2,875 trees in British Columbia by Tree Canada as part of Givex's 2009 reforestation program.

With every client order, the program plants trees to offset emissions created by production of gift and loyalty cards. This is the second year that Givex has planted trees near Kamloops, B.C., to heal damage from a 2003 wildfire and 15 years of Mountain Pine Beetle infestations.
