Covast Offers Free Software for ebXML Message Service

Covast promotes increased standardization, security and performance in advanced B2B communications

ATLANTA, June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to promote more standardized and secure B2B communications across the internet, Covast today announced that it will offer its ebXML Message Service Adapter for BizTalk Server as a free downloadable package. With more than 10 months of successful deployments in organizations across the globe, the Covast ebMS Adapter is the first Microsoft-sponsored development of ebXML capabilities for BizTalk Server.

ebXML (Electronic Business using eXtensible Markup Language) offers more standardized, secure B2B transactions than traditional XML-based communications, making it a popular standard in the government, healthcare, manufacturing and energy sector. Covast aims to promote the use of this standard along with the security and performance provided by Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 (R2) and 2009. During the first 30 days after downloading the ebXML Message Service Adapter, clients will have access to a full-service support desk. Once the 30 days is complete, licenses can be kept at no cost excluding a small monthly fee for phone support and maintenance.
