National PTA Chooses Just Between Friends for Safe, Enhanced Online Communications Among Millions of Members

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Just Between Friends, a growing company dedicated to making life easier for parents and the leaders of the community groups to which they belong, today announced it has been awarded a contract by the National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to implement its suite of online communications tools among the PTA's more than 25,000 local school-based organizations.

In doing so, the PTA is using Just Between Friends to help its more than 5.5 million members nationwide stay in better contact year-round on school-based matters through a major overhaul to its existing Online Member Data Reporting (OMDR) system.

The announcement was made today during PTA's annual convention, being held here in Ft. Lauderdale.

Local group leaders can correspond directly with their members, either through group e-mails or individually. Individual calendars can also be created, allowing members to quickly view upcoming meetings and other activities.
