Netopia Announces New MiAVo Product Line for Delivery of Triple Play Services on Fiber, VDSL2, and Bonded ADSL2+ Networks

Portfolio of high-performance gateways pairs new WAN and LAN technologies to deliver IPTV, video and voice services across next-generation broadband networks

Netopia, Inc. Carriers and Internet service providers worldwide are investing in and upgrading their broadband networks to deliver bandwidth-intensive, QoS-reliant services such as IPTV, video, and VoIP. Most customer premise equipment today is optimized only for lower-bandwidth 8 Mbps networks. As a result, these lower-capacity devices act as a bottleneck at the edge of these new high-bandwidth networks and vastly underutilize the networks' capabilities.
