Travelex Americas Appoints Andrew W. Zimakas Vice President, Marketing and Public Relations

NEW YORK, July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Travelex, the world's largest foreign exchange specialist, today announced the appointment of Andrew W. Zimakas to the role of Vice President Marketing and Public Relations, Americas. In this newly-created position, Mr. Zimakas will be responsible for growing Travelex's brand awareness in the United States, Canada and Latin America for all of the Company's businesses, including commercial and consumer foreign exchange, travel insurance, and outsourced services.

Mr. Zimakas has extensive operating experience in tier-one organizations in the Internet/ media, consumer software, and package goods industries. This includes positions with Procter & Gamble, Microsoft and AOL in a number of senior roles including General Manager, Group Marketing Manager and Brand Manager.
