Visionary Business Leaders Will Take Center Stage at Qualcomm's 5th Annual Smart Services Leadership Summit

SAN DIEGO, July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading provider of business-to-business wireless enterprise applications and services, today announced its new speakers and agenda highlights for the 5th Annual Smart Services Leadership Summit to be held July 27-29, 2009 at Qualcomm's main campus and the Hilton Torrey Pines Hotel in La Jolla, Calif. Speakers from ABB, Amazon, Best Buy, Sempra and the West Wireless Health Institute have joined an already impressive roster that includes Qualcomm Chairman and CEO Paul Jacobs and executives from the Business Council for Sustainable Energy, CardioNet, the GSM Association, Toyota and Verizon Wireless, among others.

The Summit will explore the impact of wireless in the world's evolving global, services-based economy. In this evolving new economy, businesses are leveraging wireless and machine-to-machine (M2M) communications technology to introduce new and disruptive business models, such as the Amazon Kindle and CardioNet.
