Posted on: Tuesday, 7 July 2009, 07:00 CDT

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on its recent analysis of the mobile billing management market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes TeleManagement Technologies, Inc. (TTI) with the 2009 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Billing Management Mobile Solution of the Year. TTI garners the award for its WinBill TEM (Telecommunications Expense Management) software that addresses a key issue many enterprises are facing today - how to properly manage their ever growing wireless service plans and IT integration needs.

"With enterprises focusing on increasing the productivity of their workforce by adopting various options such as remote employees, field-force automation, databases, and streamlined processes, the highlight is on the integration of mobile devices," says Frost & Sullivan Industry Analyst Todd Day. "Across all North American verticals, Frost & Sullivan projects that total market revenues for handset-based MRM applications will increase to more than $1.6 billion by 2013. As revenues increase on the device side for manufacturers, so will revenue on the services side for wireless operators."

TTI's WinBill is a uniquely designed software solution that empowers enterprises with the ability to reduce spending, increase productivity, audit and validate bills, reduce vendor costs, and better manage their wireless assets. WinBill does this by integrating and automating the invoicing and billing systems so that reporting and monitoring can be done in an effective manner.

"With many organizations having their wireless providers as well as services vary greatly from market to market, the management of these profiles has become next to impossible for one group to take on entirely," explains Day. "WinBill provides the capability for one group to take back control of the entire billing process to ensure that corporate policies are being used in the most effective manner possible."

Not only has the wireless asset management been added into the WinBill solution, but overall IT management and integration into existing back office ticket/helpdesk systems have also been integrated as well. In doing so, TTI has created a product that can easily be used in any enterprise to better manage IT and wireless assets, as well as reduce costs.

For its demonstrated creativity, vision, and innovation in developing a software solution that provides a turnkey solution to managing wireless assets in an ever changing enterprise/mobility environment, TTI is the worthy recipient of Frost & Sullivan's 2009 North American Billing Management Mobile Solution of the Year for its WinBill solution.

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to the company that has demonstrated excellence in product development and launch within the mobile and wireless industry. The recipient's product/technology effort is expected to have significant and positive impact on the expansion of mobile and wireless communications capabilities.

Frost & Sullivan's Best Practices Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research in order to identify best practices in the industry.
