SkyWest Airlines Reports June Traffic

ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — SkyWest Airlines, Inc. reported a 44.8 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for June, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 42.4 percent compared to the same period last year. The airline generated 685.9 million RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 869.5 million. Load factor increased 1.3 percentage points to 78.9 percent compared to 77.6 percent for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for June totaled 1,457,815 a 26.8 percent increase over June 2004.

SkyWest currently operates as United Express and Delta Connection carriers under contractual agreements with United Airlines and Delta Air Lines. System-wide, SkyWest serves a total of 106 cities in 30 states and three Canadian provinces with 1,497 daily departures.
