OPEX and Premier Election Solutions Announce Partnership for Incoming Vote-by-Mail Solution

MOORESTOWN, N.J., July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, OPEX Corporation and Premier Election Solutions announced their partnership to provide the only vote-by-mail solution offering one-pass sorting with in-line signature recognition. The OPEX Mail Matrix sorting functionality combined with the Premier VoteRemote Incoming solution offers the most efficient and secure solution in ballot envelope sorting.

Premier's VoteRemote Incoming solution, which has been utilized by jurisdictions for nearly a decade, uses proven technology to increase the accuracy of identifying incoming absentee envelopes while reducing processing time and labor expense. Premier was the first to introduce technologies like Automatic Signature Recognition, digital side-by-side verification, and envelope batch processing/endorsing within the vote-by-mail arena.

The Mail Matrix iBOT delivery method uses recognition and database software, a high-quality image capture system, and wireless communication to determine the appropriate bin for delivery. Ballot envelopes can be sorted to more than 1000 precincts in one pass, eliminating the need for additional sorts. Furthermore, the printing module prints numbers by precinct, batch, sequence within batch, and date and time on every envelope, providing unmatched batch integrity.
