WEST HENRIETTA, N.Y., and MCLEAN, Va., July 14, /PRNewswire/ — Odyssey Software, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class mobile device management (MDM) products, and Conceivium, a leading global provider of wireless handheld business solutions, today announced a technology partnership agreement that will enable companies to manage Microsoft(R) Windows Mobile(R) and Research In Motion (RIM) BlackBerry(R) devices from the same console.

Based on customer and market demands, Conceivium is integrating Odyssey’s award winning, Athena(TM) into its device monitoring and management suite. This will allow Conceivium to extend the capabilities of its end-to-end solutions for remote monitoring and troubleshooting to include Windows Mobile support. Conceivium’s MobileAnalyzer(TM) and MobileMonitor(TM) agents currently support the BlackBerry platform.

“At Conceivium we believe that the growing mobile workforce is both an invitation and a challenge, and we strive to provide a suite of products that represent a pure, uncompromising mobile choice that is out of the ordinary,” said Jonas Gyllensvaan, CEO of Conceivium. “By integrating Athena into our current BlackBerry mobile device management solution, we are able to offer our customers a truly unique product that provides extensive capabilities for the Windows Mobile platform.”

Athena is uniquely designed to integrate directly into the native infrastructure of existing management consoles without the need for proprietary Odyssey Software servers or consoles, unlike all other device management products, which require their own proprietary server, console and database infrastructure. Supporting Microsoft Windows Mobile, Windows Embedded(R) and Windows(R) device platforms, Athena is specifically architected to be flexible, modular and seamless to integrate.

“With industry experts projecting that nearly a billion workers around the globe will be classified as mobile by 2011, demand for mobile device management will continue to accelerate,” said Mark Gentile, CEO of Odyssey Software. “Integrating Windows Mobile support into Conceivium’s MobileAnalyzer and MobileMonitor agent will expand this powerful solution and the robust management capabilities it provides to match the rapidly evolving needs of the fast growing mobile workforce.”
