DALLAS, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul Diegelman and Michael Alfonsi, executives with BancTec, Inc., have been selected to deliver a webinar for IAPP, a global nonprofit association committed to the advancement of individuals in the accounts payable profession. Mr. Diegelman, vice president of finance and accounting optimization for BancTec, and Mr. Alfonsi, vice president of working capital optimization and finance transformation, will deliver the webinar, entitled "Understanding Working Capital and Its Implications for Your Company," on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM EDT.
"In today's current economic environment, where corporate capital and bank loans are severely constrained and elusive, CFOs are focused on reducing their company's working capital, and the underlying costs to manage it," said Alfonsi. "In this webinar, we'll help participants understand what working capital is, compare their costs/processes to peer groups, and prepare them to discuss, identify and evaluate working capital improvement opportunities, especially with senior management."
BancTec, a global provider of advanced, high-volume, document and payment processing solutions and services, recently formed an independent working capital management and finance transformation advisory service called BancTec Consulting Management Services (CMS). The service assists clients working to deploy treasury, risk management and working capital management best practices. Mr. Alfonsi, a recognized industry expert in repositioning finance for decision support and leadership, leads BancTec CMS.
