Bomb hurts policeman in Barcelona
MADRID, July 12 (Xinhua) — A bomb exploded outside the Italian cultural center in Barcelona, Spain, on Tuesday morning, injuring a policeman and killing a police dog, according to local police.
The bomb was hidden in a coffee-maker left in front of the main door of the building.
An employee of the center saw wires around the device, and called the local police station.
When the sniffing dog touched the device, the bomb exploded.
Police suspected that Italian anarchists were behind the attack.
