Clear Align Adds Two New Managers of Business Development

PHILADELPHIA, July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Clear Align, specialists in designing, prototyping and manufacturing custom imaging, sensing and fiber optic systems, announced today, that Jeff Dallape and Lance Whalen have joined the company as Managers of Business Development. Mr. Dallape will oversee imaging and Mr. Whalen will oversee camera integration.

Jeff Dallape has over 26 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry encompassing program management, domestic and international business development, contract management, segment level business development operations management and enterprise strategic planning. Previously, Mr. Dallape worked for DRS Technologies, where he held numerous positions including Vice President of International Business Development at DRS Reconnaissance Surveillance and Target Acquisition Segment (RSTA), Senior Director of Business Development Operations, and Director of Business Development for DRS Optronics Division. Prior to DRS, Mr. Dallape was the International Programs Manager at Raytheon Technical Services Company and the Program Manager for International Programs for the Asia Pacific Region and NATO at Hughes Aircraft Company. Concurrent with his professional career, Mr. Dallape served as an active and reserve officer for 20 years in the US Army Ordnance Corps. His academic achievement includes an MBA in International Business from National University and an MS Degree in Management from Worcester State College. Mr. Dallape is also a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, KS.

Lance Whalen has more than 29 years of experience in the electro-optics industry. His particular expertise in system integration of complex optical components allows him to work closely with customers early in the design stage resulting in optimum solutions and superior products. Mr. Whalen most recently held the Senior Business Development Manager and Aerospace & Defense Product Line Manager position at Corning in Keene, NH. During his time at Corning he supported Military and Aerospace customers with optical products. Prior to Corning, Mr. Whalen was the Diamond Turning Business Unit Manager at Exotic Electro-Optics where he also had held positions as Senior Program Manager and Senior Business Development Manager. Previous to this, he was the Optics Manager at Axsys Technologies and held positions as a Senior Research Development and Technologies Engineer at Lockheed Martin (also directing the Diamond Turning Group), a Manufacturing Process Engineer and Diamond Turning Department Supervisor at Kollmorgen.
