SenSage Appoints New Vice President of Marketing and Business Development to Drive Company Expansion

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- SenSage, Inc. today announced the appointment of Joe Gottlieb as vice president of marketing and business development. In this new role on the company's senior leadership team, Gottlieb is responsible for developing the company's marketing and alliance strategies and implementing program initiatives for SenSage's industry-leading event data warehouse solutions.

Gottlieb joins SenSage from McAfee where he was vice president of corporate strategy and technology alliances, responsible for developing and implementing corporate strategy throughout the company and creating the Security Innovation Alliance, McAfee's technology partnering program. He has over 20 years' experience in the information technology industry, and is widely acknowledged as a thought leader in enterprise security.

Prior to McAfee, Gottlieb served as director of strategy and business development at Nokia Enterprise Solutions where he managed the strategy and business development team for the Security & Mobile Connectivity Business Unit. Earlier, Gottlieb was with META Group as executive vice president of marketing, sales and online services, and before that as vice president and service director of the Open Computing and Server Strategies service where he led a team of analysts providing market research and consulting services focused on merchant database, UNIX server, storage and systems management trends, markets, products and practices. He began his career as a network consultant for Ernst & Young, and holds a B.S.E.E. from Cornell University.
