Scenios LLC Announces Company and Angel Funding

NEW YORK, Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Scenios(TM), LLC -- a stealth company developing a cloud-based Digital Asset Management platform integrated with search and social networking components -- today announced initial details of its funding in preparation for a September beta launch. Geared to the multimedia professional and founded by Emmy(R)-award winning producers and editors (5 Emmys with one founder alone), Scenios also has an equally strong technical team in place.

Scenios will be supported on Mac(R) OS X(R), Microsoft(R) Windows(R), Linux(R) and iPhone(R) and is based on open technology standards such as H.264 and HTTP 5. All rights-managed assets that are uploaded to Scenios will be searchable and Scenios supports open API frameworks to allow its community to leverage other sites and technologies.

In a unique situation given the current world economic crisis, Scenios is not seeking additional capital beyond its angel funding. The founders are confident that Scenios will quickly generate more-than-sufficient revenue upon launch to support rapid growth and profit. Scenios is not disclosing the amount of its angel funding round or sources, except to say that it is less than $2M US -- this is to preserve the specifics of its platform and business model prior to launch.
