Evergreen Systems Receives 2009 HP IT Service Management Implementation Partner of the Year Award

STERLING, Va., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Evergreen Systems announced that they were named 2009 IT Service Management Implementation Partner of the Year at the HP Software Universe conference, held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Software Universe, an annual end-user conference organized and hosted by HP, focuses on helping companies optimize the outcome of their IT infrastructure enterprise applications. At the conference, HP recognizes partners that have shown excellence in selling and implementing HP business technology optimization (BTO) solutions.

Evergreen won the award for its implementation of a worldwide asset management system for a multinational enterprise. The client was charged with integrating a number of automated and manual legacy asset management tools with current worldwide IT asset inventories. Through a thorough inventory of software titles and hardware maintenance contracts that leveraged pockets of unused and misallocated inventory, Evergreen recovered funds to pay for the first phase of the project as well as fund the next phase. The project will ultimately implement a viable IT lifecycle management plan that provides a worldwide enterprise-level repository for hardware and software -- with 90% accuracy.
