Google Previewing New Search Engine

Google has opened up the page to its new search engine so users are able to take a peek at the results.
Caffeine, which is the code name for the new engine, is available at a separate address and looks the same as the current engine, but ranks results differently.
Google Inc. posted a blog late Monday about Caffeine saying that it will be faster, more accurate and more comprehensive.
"For the last several months, a large team of Googlers has been working on a secret project: a next-generation architecture for Google's web search," two engineers wrote in the company's official blog.
"It's the first step in a process that will let us push the envelope on size, indexing speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and other dimensions. The new infrastructure sits 'under the hood' of Google's search engine, which means that most users won't notice a difference in search results. But web developers and power searchers might notice a few differences, so we're opening up a web developer preview to collect feedback."
The public testing of the new engine comes two weeks after Microsoft Corp. struck a deal to replace Yahoo Inc.'s search engine with its own Google competitor "Bing." Yahoo search and Bing are the second and third most popular engines after Google.
Some experts believe this new search engine will change businesses search engine optimization, which some companies rely on.
