Keane Appoints Industry Veteran John W. McCain as President and CEO

BOSTON, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ — Keane, a US based IT services firm that helps clients’ realize the greatest value from their IT investments, today announced that it has appointed John W. McCain as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. McCain is a 22 year veteran of the IT Services industry and joins Keane after his most recent assignment at Hewlett-Packard Company. While at HP he was senior vice president and general manager of HP Services, the fourth largest IT services provider in the world, with annualized revenue of $18 billion and 73,000 professionals. Also while with HP, Mr. McCain led the $3.6 billion Consulting and Integration business.

Prior to joining HP, he held the position of chief executive officer of North America for Cap Gemini. During 16 years at EDS he built from inception the CIO Services business and was president of EDS’ E.Solutions business which developed and delivered consulting, implementation, and support offerings for clients.
