PCTEL's Roaming Client Selected By NTT Communications To Enhance Enterprise Mobility Services

Multimode Client Software Facilitates Seamless and Secure Subscriber Roaming Inside and Outside of the Office

PCTEL, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCTI), a global leader in simplifying broadband mobility, announced today an agreement with NTT Communications Corporation to license PCTEL's Multimode Roaming Client software for distribution to its enterprise customers in Japan. The PCTEL Roaming Client will allow NTT Communications to provide a single centrally-managed software solution to meet all of the connectivity needs of these highly mobile customers.

NTT Communications' enterprise customers can install the PCTEL Roaming Client software on their laptops or personal computing devices to securely access corporate computing resources from inside and outside of their enterprise network environments. With the PCTEL Roaming Client, mobile workers can access NTT Communications' Hotspot(TM) Wireless LAN service, 3G cellular systems, PHS (Personal Handyphone Service) networks, Ethernet and dial-up connections.
