Point&Ship Places on Inc. 5000 List of U.S.-Based Fastest-Growing, Private Companies

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second year in a row, Pointandship Software, Inc. (Point&Ship) ranked on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing, private companies. The leading provider of full-service Shipping Expense Management Software((TM)) (SEMS((TM))) and a certified minority business enterprise (MBE) secured the No. 2,979 spot as its revenue jumped 93.3 percent from 2005 to 2008.

Rankings were compiled based on companies' percentage revenue growth during this time period. Point&Ship realized 2005 revenue of $26.2 million and 2008 revenue of $50.6 million. The Walnut Creek, Calif.-based firm's profits have been bolstered by a recent increase in user accounts as it actively aligns with its clients to establish the best cost-savings plan.
